Energy communities enable citizens to actively engage in and promote the energy transition. Especially in the current situation, the active involvement of citizens is an important part of securing a sustainable energy supply.
The EU project SHAREs, which is funded within the framework of the Horizon 2020 programme, supports local actors in the establishment and expansion of energy communities and enables them to address in particular those target groups that previously had little access to the topic of citizen energy.
In each of the partner countries of the EU project, a gateway in the respective national language will be offered as a central contact point from March 2023 onwards, on which all information and a range of templates and tools required for the establishment or expansion of energy communities are available.
The international platform can be used as a template by actors from EU countries that are not yet involved in the project to set up their own national One-Stop-Shop. If you are interested in using the international template and adapting it to the conditions in your country, please contact us.
In any case, it is worth visiting the international SHAREs platform to get an overview of the information and materials already available and to get inspiration for the establishment of energy communities.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 101033722.
